A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Loft, Athleta, Vera Wang from Kohl's... Before working at Twice Blessed/Diva's in downtown Lake Orion, Michigan, these were the most upscale brands in my closet.  Is that BAD? No!  It's fine to have a closet full of Target and Old Navy clothing,  if that satisfies your fashion appetite.

For a clothes horse like me, however, learning about and owning some designer threads that I could never afford to buy retail has been like eating dessert everyday!  Clothing brings me joy and discovering new designers is another thing to love about my job and consignment shopping!

My favorite designer at the moment is Desigual.  According to Wikipedia, this brand was originated in 1984 in Barcelona, Spain.  It is currently sold in many countries, including the USA.  It's noted for trendy patchwork designs, intense prints, graffiti art, asymmetrical designs and bright splashes of color.  The company claims to have a philosophy based on positivity, tolerance, commitment and fun.
